Focus of Real Estate Wiki
As its name and URL implies Real Estate Wiki focuses exclusively on real estate. Any non-real estate related content, irrespective of how valuable is inappropriate and should not be added to Real Estate Wiki but rather to other wikis.

Finding Content
Content can easily be found via two methods - first by using the Search Bar or secondly by browsing the extensive Sections and Categories listed in the middle of the homepage and drilling down to the appropriate information.

Can Anyone Use Real Estate Wiki?
Simply put, yes. Anyone may use Real Estate Wiki to edit, post or retrieve information.

Can I Add Something To Real Estate Wiki That I Got From Somewhere Else?
Any work that you have created or that is in the public domain can be added. Be careful not to add material that is copyrighted without the prior consent of the copyright holder. Real Estate Wiki will strive as far as possible to ensure that copy that has been added to the site will cite, acknowledge and list appropriate copyright holders, trademarks, etc. where and when we become aware thereof. Should you notice any omissions or errors on Real Estate Wiki kindly correct them yourself or email us with the correct information.

Regular Contributors
Real Estate Wiki strongly encourages and would like to invite any people that would like to become regular contributors or editors to Real Estate Wiki. Our goal is to build the largest source of quality and accurate real estate information so that the industry, all its participants and professionals, home owners, renters and consumers interested in real estate have a central and reliable place to go for all real estate information.

Page History
All editable pages on Real Estate Wiki have a history page which consists of the old versions of the text. This page also includes a record of the date and time of every edit, the user who made the change and short summary of the change.

Categories
Real Estate Wiki has been divided into 10 Sections and 70 Categories to the initial launch. More categories will be added by the Real Estate Gatekeeper as the site expands. Should you wish to suggest any new categories kindly email thegatekeeper@realestatewiki.com

Inappropriate Copy
Any Real Estate Wiki user may identify any content for deletion if they believe it in error or not suitable. If no one within five days objects to said removal the Real Estate Gatekeeper will delete the applicable copy. Complaints can also be emailed to thegatekeeper@realestatewiki.com

Vandalism
Vandalism is the deliberate addition, removal, or change of content made in an attempt to compromise the integrity of Real Estate Wiki. The most common types of vandalism include the addition of obscenities or crude humor, page blanking, or the insertion of nonsense into articles. Any good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia, even if misguided or ill-considered, is not vandalism. Committing blatant vandalism violates the Terms of Use of Real Estate Wiki and will not be tolerated. If you find that another user has vandalized Real Estate Wiki, you should revert back to the previous edition of the text and notify the thegatekeeper@realestatewiki.com

Can I Reuse Real Estate Wiki's Content Somewhere Else?
Real Estate Wiki’s content is copyrighted and may not be reproduced on another website in any format, in large parts or total. The reference of individual pieces or sections of content may be used by referencing and linking to Real Estate Wiki.

What is Copyright?
Taken from the dictionary, a Copyright is the right granted to an author, composer, playwright, publisher, or distributor to exclusive publication, production, sale, or distribution of a literary, musical, dramatic, or artistic work.

What is Fair Use?
Fair use is a doctrine in United States copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders, such as use for scholarship or review. It provides for the legal, non-licensed citation or incorporation of copyrighted material in another author's work under a four-factor balancing test. It is based on free speech rights provided by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.

By using the Real Estate Wiki, you agree to the terms that Real Estate Wiki (or its employees) shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages. This may include but is not limited to: Errors, Mistakes and Inaccuracies. It is through the use of Real Estate Wiki that you acknowledge that Real Estate Wiki shall not be liable for third party contributions and therefore all risks or harm rest entirely with the user.
