RealEstate.com, a leading online real estate portal and lead generation website becomes the first “dotcom” to open multiple brick and mortar real estate offices.

 

Walter Forbes and Stuart Wolff, former Cendant and HomeStore CEO’s respectively, are found guilty on fraudulent insider trading and falsification of corporate books and records.

 

Cendant divides into four separate companies thereby creating Realology Corporation, the subsidiary holding Coldwell Banker, Century 21, ERA, Sotheby’s and NRT.

 

In 2006 sales volumes decline almost everywhere and reality hits at the end of the first quarter when the National Association of Realtors® announcing that national home sales and prices both fell dramatically in March 2007 — the steepest plunge since 1989.
