| In October 2007 Realogy announced a 50-year agreement to license the Better Homes and Gardens® Real Estate (BH & G)brand from Meredith Corporation (NYSE: MDP). The first president and CEO of the company is Sherry A. Chris.
The company formally launched in July 2008 Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate (BH&G), a new international residential real estate franchise company, with the opening of its first brokerage in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Wilkins & Associates.
The new Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate consumer website launched with more than 300,000 property listings and visitors can access vital information on neighborhoods, housing trends, local market conditions, sales activity and recent sale prices. The site will be integrated with www.bhg.com, the interactive companion to Better Homes and Gardens magazine, to increase exposure to consumers already interested in homes and home buying. |
