The Career Institute was founded in 1999 and initially offered continuing education for law enforcement officers worldwide. Continuing education for real estate agents authorized by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission was added in 2000 and Tennessee real estate pre-licensing education in 2005.
The Career Institute was the first school in Tennessee to offer the required 60 pre-licensing course in a distant learning format. The Career Institute continues to be a leader as a Tennessee real estate education provider offering a full range of real estate correspondence courses including the required 30 Broker Office Management and the post licensing Professional Series
The Career Institute continues to service the law enforcement community and in 2003 became a provider of security officer training for the Tennessee Department of Commerce providing required education to security officers, as well as firearms, baton, mace/O.C. pepper spray, non-lethal Taser and stun gun training and first aid, CPR & AED certification. The career Institute is an authorized ASHI (First Aid, CPR, AED) Training Center. |
