Born in Hickory, NC. Moved to Greenville, SC when she was two and then to Florence, SC when she was nine. Graduated from McClenaghan High School in Florence and attended Winthrop College in Rock Hill before moving to Columbia in 1969.
She and he husband opened Earth Available Realty, Inc. as partners in January of 1991. In December of 1992 they broadened their partnership by getting married - both partnerships have worked out extremely well! Between us, we have three children and five grandchildren.
