The Certified Commercial Sales Specialist (CCSS) designation provides advanced education, knowledge, and sales training for Commercial Real Estate agents.
To earn the designation, you must complete 15 required courses and pass a comprehensive final examination. The exam is an open book, comprehensive review that you take at home. Your exam is part test and part essay.
Upon successful completion, the Commercial Real Estate Institute, Inc. founded in 1997, issues a Certificate, a license to use the Certified Commercial Sales Specialist (CCSS) title, a CD containing practical forms that you can use right away in your practice, and a profile page with the Institute that displays your own practice areas so potential clients can find you easily.
