Collectively, the Chamber of Horizontal Properties and Real Estate Activities (CAPHYAI) and Colegio de Martilleros y Corredores Públicos (CMCPSI) represent Argentina's real estate community within ICREA. Founded in 1951 and 1965, respectively, these two groups represent approximately 2,000 leading real estate professionals in Argentina, many of which serve the Buenos Aires region, the country's largest market. The organizations offer a variety of member services with the Colegio having a particular emphasis on training and education, as this group also serves as the licensing body for the industry. The two organizations work with a private MLS/property advertising company call SOM.
The Chamber of Horizontal Properties and Real Estate Activities are members of the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations (ICREA).
