Category - Professional Development - RealtorŪ Associations

CCAR is the largest, voluntary professional trade association in Clark County, Washington, and the Voice of Real Estate in Southwest Washington. Chartered by NAR in 1921, the Association exists to promote a favorable productive business environment for its members and to protect the right of Realtors and property owners to use, enjoy and convey private property. CCAR serves members by sponsoring educational programs, offering networking opportunities, advocating Realtor positions on public policy to government, and vigorously enforcing the Realtor Code of Ethics.

The Association is organized as a not-for-profit corporation under the laws of Washington State, and also operates the CCAR Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity, for the relief of children, families and seniors in Clark County. The Association is a stockholder in RMLS, the regional multiple listing service, with the Portland and East Metro Boards in Oregon, and publishes the Washington Real Estate Forms (WREF) as the only Realtor-owned purchase and sale forms in Washington State.
