Real Estate Salesperson:  When you application is received with all the requirements met, you will receive permission to write the exam. An applicant needs 60 hours of Real Estate Principles and Practices.

Continued education: There is various requirements re continued education in Connecticut for a salesperson as well as brokers.  See the website for complete details

Broker applicants:  Applicants for a real estate broker license need 120 hours of specific real estate classes, for a real estate broker license in Connecticut applicants need to have two years of actively holding a Connecticut salesperson license.

Reciprocal license recognition & Non-residents:  Courses from other states might be accepted for Connecticut real estate courses or they might only have to take the Connecticut portion of the real estate exams.
