As VP of Engineering at Trulia, Farnedi is responsible for all technical development and operations at Trulia. Prior to Trulia, Daniele served as Director of Engineering at Shopping.com, a leading online comparison shopping service which has over 20 million monthly visitors, completed an initial public offering in October 2004, and was then acquired by eBay. Prior to Shopping.com, Farnedi was Director of Software Engineering at Looksmart, an online advertising and vertical search technology company, where he led natural and paid search development. He also contributed in technical roles to organizations across Europe and the US, including Barclays Global Investors, Logica-Finsiel, and IBM-University of Bologna.
Farnedi holds a Laurea in Electrical Engineering with full marks from the University of Bologna, Italy. He is a member of IEEE Computer Society and ACM and enjoys competing in downhill skiing and mountain bike races.
