Dorcas Helfant-Browning serves as CEO, Principal Broker and Managing Partner of Coldwell Banker Professional, Realtors.
Dorcas has served as President of National Association of Realtors and was the first woman to hold this position in the Association’s 99-year history. She has served as President of both the Virginia Association of Realtors and the Virginia Beach Association Realtors.
Dorcas is also the past president of Virginia Beach Chamber of Commerce, and served as Chair of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce in 2000 and 2001, where she was representing the cities of Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Suffolk and Virginia Beach.
In 2004, Dorcas became the first woman to serve as President of the Tidewater Council Boy Scouts of America. A few years later in 2006, she served as Chair of Tidewater Community College’s Board of Trustees.
Helfant-Browning is a worldwide speaker speaking in over eight countries. She has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Washington Post and the New York Times. Dorcas has also mades television appearances on CNN’s Moneyline, ABC’s Good Morning America and CNBC’s The Mclughlin Report representing organized real estate.
Dorcas is married to G. Landon Browning Jr. and they reside in Virginia Beach.
