As Chief Economist Duncan provides economic and policy analysis in of financial, legislative, regulatory and industry trends for the Mortgage Bankers Association and its members. His responsibilities include oversight of the MBA's Research Institute for Housing America and the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization. Duncan joined the MBA in 1992, after serving as a LEGIS fellow with the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Banking, Finance and Urban Affairs. He holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, Bachelors and Masters degrees from North Dakota State University, and an A.A. degree from Fergus Falls Community College. |
