Founded in 1996 by Steve Morris EXIT has to date sold 1,200 franchises in recruited nearly 40,000 salespeople in little more than a decade.
The EXIT Realty is based on a system that pays out residuals, and therefore basically redistributes the commission pie in a different way that the current average commission arrangement. Similar to commission innovation by RE/MAX 3 decades ago, both companies benefited from a ripe agent market and enjoyed rapid growth.
Surprisingly the Canadian government granted EXIT $750,000 for developing the software necessary to pay out single-level residuals internationally right past death together with an additional $250,000 each February right to the end of the decade. |
