Governor
In 2007 he sworn in as Governor of the State of New York. Began his public service as a clerk to U.S. District Court Judge Robert W. Sweet, and later served as Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan from 1986-92. Thereafter he served in private practice with several firms before becoming Attorney General for the State of New York in which role he has taken on title companies, mortgage fraud, and other real estate-related matters. He was recently named "Crusader of the Year" by Time magazine. |
