| Established in 1959 by John and Dorothy Correll, the Georgia Institute of Real Estate (GIRE) is recognized as the oldest and most widely acclaimed school of real estate in Georgia. GIRE has grown from informal tutoring sessions held in the Correll's home on Saturday mornings into a distinguished institution serving the real estate educations needs of approximately 16,000 students in Metro Atlanta and across Georgia. GIRE was acquired by the Atlanta Board of Realtors® in 1980. The main campus is today located in the Tommie Jackson Building of the Atlanta Board of Realtors in Sandy Springs and a satellite campus in the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of Realtors building in Duluth. |
