How Current Should The Termite Report Be?
Category - Home Selling FAQ's - Selling Disclosure & Inspections

Most lenders require that the termite inspection be conducted within thirty days of the closing.  If the closing is postponed, the termite report must be updated by the performing contractor or pest control operator.  In most states, pest control operators must use a form approved by the state known as the Official Wood Infestation Report when certifying a structure is free from termites.
