I just got my Real Estate License, how do I become a Realtor®?
Category - Professional Development - Become a Real Estate Agent

Once you passed your state’s real estate exam and have affiliated with or “hung” your license with a brokerage firm, you will want to affiliate with your local Association of Realtors®. Typically, the county you work and/or live in will have an association you can join. In most cases, your membership with a local Realtor® Association will automatically allow you to become a member of the National Association of Realtors®. Only that membership allows you to use the wor Realtor® which must always include the ® trademark symbol next to the word “Realtor”.

Membership fees for county associations vary and can range from the $200s to the $400s, depending on the state and county.
