After being SVP for 16 years at two major real estate firms, Pruitt branched out to create her own company that today is comprised of five offices. In October 2001, Jenny Pruitt & Associates was acquired by HomeServices of America, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate. Pruitt is a past president of the Atlanta Board of REALTORS and was Atlanta’s Realtor of the Year in 1980. Her affiliations include Directorships of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, Buckhead Coalition, Rotary Club of Atlanta and the Georgia Cancer Coalition. She is also on the Board of Chastain Horse Park and the Advisory Board for the Girl Scouts of America. She was named Georgia Small Business Person of the Year and was inducted into the Georgia State Business Hall of Fame in 1999. In 2003, Pruitt received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Atlanta Business Chronicle and the Honorary Alumni Award from Georgia State University. In 2006 she was named one of the 100 Most Influential Georgians. |
