When people in Mountain Lakes think of real estate John Barr's name often comes to mind. Since 2003 he has listed and sold more homes in Mountain Lakes than any other agent in the Coldwell Banker Mountain Lakes office.
John Barr's business philosophy is simple. He believes in building relationships and advises his clients the same as he would family members that were purchasing or selling real estate. John Barr holds a real estate brokers license unlike most agents who only hold a sales license. With over 16 years in the real estate profession he has conducted and supervised over 435 residential transactions and is knowledgeable in all aspects of residential sales, interpersonal relations and negotiations. The majority of John Barr’s business comes from former clients and friends referring their friends to him because they trust him and know that he will take care of their needs.
John Barr is married with two great daughters and a wonderful wife. He served as an active duty army counterintelligence officer and has been actively involved in community affairs serving 10 years as a volunteer firefighter, youth soccer coach and a CCD teacher at Saint Catherine of Siena. His daughters Keely and Rosie have also been active in the community as well as his wife Yong Suk who was awarded the second annual Laker Pride Award by the Laker Sports Club in 2004.
John Barr’s diverse background, combined with his in-depth knowledge of Morris County and his extensive network of contacts both with other top Coldwell Banker Associates as well as other Realtors throughout New Jersey and across the country enables him to quickly connect with the right buyers for the properties he represents.
John Barr believes of all the decisions you’ll face when buying or selling a home, there is none more important than the person you choose to represent you.
John Barr is a Previews Specialist specializing in listing and selling luxury and high end homes as well as a Certified Relocation Specialist selling homes throughout New Jersey's Morris, Essex and Sussex counties.
