Mary Frances Burleson started her career over 45 years ago as Ebby’s secretary. In 1979 she rose to Executive Vice President and later to President in 1989. Since then she has served as president for Greater Dallas Association of REALTORS® in 2002, and chairman for Texas Association of REALTORS® in 2002. In 2004, Governor Rick Perry appointed Mary Burleson to serve as a broker member on the Texas Real Estate Commission.
Burleson has been a member of the NAR Board of Directors since 1991. Mary’s other endeavors include serving as Chairman of the Baptist Foundation of Texas, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce. Mary Burleson is also a member of the Southern Methodist University Planned Giving Council. In 1999-2000, Burleson also served as member of the Fannie Mae National Advisory Council.
She holds a CRB designation from the REALTORS® National Marketing Institute.
