Ohlhausen has been a key figure in the FTC's review of real estate antitrust matters encouraging state officials not to pass real estate laws that are potentially anticompetitive and harmful to consumers. She had served as the Office of Policy Planning's Acting Director from July 2004 until her appointment as Director in May 2005, and in 2003 was appointed Deputy Director of the office. She joined the FTC in September 1997. |
