Multi-Family Specialist® (MFS)
Category - Professional Development - Real Estate Designations
Multi-Family Specialist® is a dynamic and unique real estate professional designation that can be earned by real estate agents. This designation establishes agents as the premier real estate professionals in their community, specializing in the market of multi-family properties. Different from any commercial real estate professional designation, MFS® targets only multi-family properties ranging from two-family homes to large apartment buildings.

Agents can earn the MFS designation from the comfort of their home or office.  The six-hour course is available either through online video instruction or by mail with associated course materials. The course is designed with agents (and their often hectic schedules) in mind.  For those opting for the online version, agents can view and review any segment with video before taking the online exam at the conclusion.

The Multi-Family Specialist® designation is approved and offered by the Council of Investment Specialists®(CIS.)  This parent organization is comprised of real estate agents, investors and professionals who desire to strengthen the educational value being offered to real estate agents in the field of multi-family investments.
