Born in the Dominican Republic, Nick came to the United States at the age of 17.  Being the eldest of 10 children, Nick knew that he not only needed to support himself, but that he also had to help his mother with the rest of the family.  He continued with his education in New York and entered into the Real Estate industry in 1978, which is also the year he began dating his wife, Terry.  Nick and Terry married in 1980 and continued to achieve the American Dream, homeownership.  In 1986, Nick opened Top Service Realty, Inc. in Queens Village and joined the ERA Franchise in 1987.  Nick then convinced Terry to become a Sales Associate and continued to grow the company.  In 1991, Nick decided that he needed to take a risk for even greater potential growth and decided to forego selling houses and just focus on managing ERA Top Service.  This proved to be the right idea because Nick then opened the Woodhaven branch in 1994.

With continuous growth in mind, Nick wanted to take advantage of the different trends in the market and opened the Park Slope branch in 2005.  Then as the market has it's perceived downturn, Nick took advantage of another opportunity and acquired two more branches in 2008 that are located in the Canarsie and Gravesend neighborhoods of Brooklyn.  ERA Top Service Realty has been recognized as a Top 50 Company within the ERA Franchise for 2008.

To this day, Nick prides himself on working with the agents and continues to focus on growing the company year after year.
