Manning is very fortunate to have Interstate 95 (North and South) border our town and we have a 110,000 acre lake that is called Lake Marion. You can go from Maine to Florida by accessing our lake then the inlet coastal water way. Manning is centrally located for the Southern part of South Carolina as we are approximately 60 miles from Charleston, Columbia, and Myrtle Beach, and 45 miles from Florence, SC. Lake Marion is host to abundant national fishing tournaments each year and is a major part of the Manning/Santee life style. Manning and Santee host approximately 10 -18 hole golf courses within a 30 mile radius. A true "sportsmans paradise" with hunting, fishing and golf available. |
