RIS Media was founded in 1980 by CEO and Publisher John E. Featherston, and has grown into one of the largest and most well known news service providers in the residential real estate industry.

They publish the industry’s largest full color monthly magazine, offer a daily online news service, organize the annual Leadership in Real Estate Conference, the CEO Exchange and the Power Broker Session and Dinner (held during the annual NAR convention every year).
