Real Estate Apprentice Shows New Rookies How To Strike Gold

ALISO VIEJO, CA, October 4, 2006 – The Real Estate Apprentice Million Dollar Grant program officially embraced the 4th bi-annual winner, Dawn Heinemann, during a ceremony presided over by incoming Tucson Association of REALTORS® President Mike Whaling and current Tucson MLS President Paul Olson last month.

The event was especially rich in celebration for Tucson-based RealtyU® powerhouse Hogan School of Real Estate, since they trained Dawn to help her obtain her license and also enjoyed two other participants in the semi-finals: Kelly Howell, who finished as a semi-finalist in the 11th spot among 2,128 applicants, and Robert Moreno, who finished with an honorable mention among the final 30 candidates. Co-Owner Esther Hogan exclaimed, “We are tremendously grateful to the Real Estate Apprentice® Foundation for recognizing not only one, but three of our school’s finest students.”

A crowd of over 100 gathered to honor the award recipients, as Bruce Jacobs of First American Residential Group, a platinum sponsor of the Real Estate Apprentice® Foundation, presented Heinemann with her Real Estate Apprentice® trophy and a suite of education, mentoring, products and services designed to help jumpstart her new real estate career. Between the three Hogan grads, Heinemann, Howell and Moreno received a total of $73,300 from over 50 committed sponsors. A full list of companies participating to improve the quality and success rate of newly licensed real estate agents can be viewed here.

Since winning the Foundation’s grand prize and officially entering the real estate industry, Heinemann realized the formidable learning curve required to succeed in selling real estate.  That challenge has presented her with the opportunity to learn – one of her favorite things to do.  As the Grand Prize Winner, Dawn is entitled to one full year of free real estate education at Hogan’s School of Real Estate. She has already completed the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation and is hoping to obtain the Accredited Seller Representative (ASR®) designation very soon as well.

As a result, Heneiman is already on the fast track to gain expertise that would normally take the average agent many years to obtain. She remarked, “One of the greatest benefits of winning this award has been the support from so many different sponsors, and also the notoriety and recognition the Foundation has afforded me – participating in the Real Estate Apprentice® Grant Program  has opened a lot of doors for me.”

The following season of the Real Estate Apprentice® Grant program began on July 1st and not only awards $100,000 to the top 10 finalists, but actually offers $250 to every applicant who completes and submits a valid application.  This grant includes two months of free online mentoring from iSucceed, one free online real estate course from RealtyU®, one real estate career personality assessment, two months of free access to eNeighborhoods, a printing discount from ExpressCopy and 30 days of free usage of the management business platform in real estate, from RealAgentSuite. The grant has no strings attached, no purchase is required and grants need not be repaid.

No other program provides over $1 million of direct support on an annual basis to help rookies enjoy more success quicker, while at the same time reduces the fallout rate of real estate agents and contributes to the betterment of the image and professionalism of the real estate agent in North America.  Anyone interested in making real estate a better place should contact Foundation Deputy Director Dr. Martin Oliver at Dr.Oliver@RealEstateApprentice.com, or 949.600.7188 immediately.
