The company was launched in 2002 and was built with the female consumer in mind. This once regional company based in Ohio has moved from a local independent into a company in 20 states with 160 offices and 4,000 agents – all in just five short years.
In 2005 Real Living launched its new website, MyRealLiving 2.0 (patent-pending). It is the industry’s first consumer-driven application incorporating 1.14 million active listings imported from 44 boards and a large offering of new consumer driven features. According to a comScore Media Metrix Internet Traffic Report in July 2007, Web visitors spent 35.6 minutes per day on RealLiving.com vs. 18 minutes per day on century21.com, 12.3 minutes on remax.com and 9.5 minutes on coldwellbanker.com.
Real Living, like the other companies we have just briefly touched, knows that the Internet has forever changed the way consumers buy and sell homes, and how they work with their agents. In this ever-evolving world of real estate agents need their brokers to provide more marketing, technology and training support than ever before, and help them work smarter, not harder in meeting the ever-changing needs of homebuyers and sellers – saving them time and increasing their productivity.
