Sharon manages and trains real estate professionals and works closely in developing legal and regulatory standards of practice for the real estate industry.

She has served the locale and state REALTOR® Association on many different committees and most noticeable served as President of the National Association of REALTOR® in1999 and Co-Chair of the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations.

Citizen of the Year for the City of Auburn, Maine in 2007, Past President of the National Association of REALTORS® and the Maine Association of REALTORS®, Vice Chair of the Maine Real Estate Commission 2008, Past Chair of the Fannie Mae National Advisory Board, Past Co-Chair of ICREA the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations.
