Should I Ask for Feedback?
Category - Real Estate General - Becoming an Agent
Yes, feedback is always helpful to improve your customer support. Feedback is especially important in difficult situations, when it may be necessary for your client to vent frustration or dissatisfaction.

When you ask for feedback, accept the client’s position and make a note. Do not become defensive but do explain an issue and how you can or did solve it. Always make sure the client knows you very much appreciate his or her business and ask for ways you can ensure their satisfaction.

Although you do not want to get involved in a debate with your client, do explain your point of view very politely. If the client expresses dissatisfaction, take responsibility for the problem and share ways in which you will address it. Take action immediately and provide your client with a progress report.

When receiving negative feedback, imagine yourself in the situation and what you can do to make your client feel better to regain his or her trust.
