What Is The Difference Between The Listing Price And The Sales Price?
Category - Home Selling Questions - General Home Selling FAQ's

The listing price or asking price is the price for which the seller offers the property for sale. The sales price or purchase price is the negotiated price to which both buyer and seller agree; the price acceptable to complete the transaction and close the deal. The sales price is the actual price the buyer pays and obtains a mortgage loan for, once the contract negotiations are completed.
