What if certain appliances don't work?

Almost all contracts provide a space that allows you to write down all the appliances that are not in working order. The best thing is to disclose, up front, any appliances that don't work to avoid future problems. When a buyer is purchasing your home, they are assuming everything is in working order. If there are major appliances such as heating and air conditioner that don't work, then that must be disclosed on the residential disclosure form
