| Depending on the type of financing your buyer is acquiring they may be able to get a gift from a friend or family member. It's usually not acceptable for the seller to assist the buyer with the required down payment. However, there are Gift Program Companies that will give the buyer the required down payment money such as the Ameridream or Nehemiah Program. Check with your local banker or mortgage broker for more information. |
