What is meant by notices?
Category - Home Ownership Questions - Lease & Renting FAQ's
Notice is information, which may be required to be provided by the terms of the contract. For example, when two parties agree to terminate a lease, written notice must be given by either party 30 days before its termination. Although notice can be oral, most lease agreements require notices to be in writing. This approach is always advisable, so that it can be proven that necessary notice was given. Such written notice should be personally served or proof of notice be retained, such as a fax record or a signed receipt.
