The business concept expands on the Executive Summary and explains your business in much greater detail. It usually starts with a description of your industry, type of service provided, trends in the industry, statistics supporting the growth trends and which support the business’ opportunity.
The business concept also describes your target market (in real estate you would describe whether you offer residential services, commercial, land, buyer, seller, etc.) Then describe the service you offer in detail and its end users, as well as any variations or enhancements which set your service apart. If you are seeking a business loan, explain why the loan will make your business more profitable (are you expanding, buying new equipment or creating a new product to enhance your profitability?) |
