Why Is It Important that I Make a Good First Impression?
Category - Professional Development - Become a Real Estate Agent

Most of us are not conscious of the fact that every person we interact with forms an opinion of us, positive or negative. To excel in sales, you must make a positive impression. Your potential clients must want to work with you. In other words, every salesperson must remember at all times, that he or she is “on stage.” Therefore, your actions even when on personal business need to convey a positive impression. For example, if you allow a stranger to step in front of you in the checkout line, you are making the right impression. That person will be more likely to engage in a conversation and take your card.

As a salesperson, you need to recognize that your actions in and outside the sales arena can either work for you or against you, because you never know when you may be interacting with a potential client. Remember that “people watching” is a form of entertainment enjoyed by most of us.
