Real estate transactions are legal transactions, which, by their nature, involve high risk. A new agent’s lack of experience in the field must be managed and mentored, to avoid grave infractions, which could lead to serious legal consequences.
A broker is also responsible for ensuring the new agent obtains all pertinent post-license training, which includes, but is not limited to, the use of the multiple listing service, completing the purchase contract, legal requirements, creating CMAs (Comparable Market Analysis) on a property, etc. In addition, your broker will ensure you purchase the necessary insurance policies for your own protection. |
